Terms and conditions
Cancellations
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel or re-arrange an appointment, please telephone or follow the link at the bottom of your confirmation e-mail.
Some short notice appointments (less than 24 hours) are offered from time to time, which cannot be made online; As a result of this; a 50% charge will be taken from the card details provided when booking, for any unattended appointments where more than 24 hours’ notice is not given.
Whilst initial telephone discussions are FREE; I do require 24 hours’ notice should you be unable to attend. Should you attend your initial consultation and find that now is not the time for you to begin your hypnotherapy treatment, NO CHARGES will be made.
Confidentiality
All discussions held between yourself and I will be treated with the strictest of confidence, except in the following circumstances;
Self-harm: I may contact your GP if you appear to be suicidal or intend to self-harm.
Harm to others: if you divulge to me that you intend to cause harm to others, I am legally obliged to inform the relevant authorities Child abuse: If you divulge any information to me regarding any form of abuse towards a minor I am legally obliged to inform the relevant
authorities. Criminal activities: If you divulge any information to me regarding any criminal activity with which you are involved, the law requires me to act on this accordingly.
Payment
Unless by special arrangement, Payment must be made by in advance of the session by debit/credit card, bank transfer or via paypal. Personal cheques are not accepted.
You are welcome to pay in advance for a set number of sessions if you wish.
Behavioural standards
You will be treated with the utmost respect and the trust that you place upon me will not be abused. I will use best practice at all times in order to achieve our mutual goals. I will kindly request that in return, you will not harm yourself, me, any employees of UK Hypnosis and Coaching, any other persons within the surrounding areas or any property belonging to either me, Nigel Edwards, UK Hypnosis and Coaching or anyone else. I expect you to agree to not come to any sessions, consultation or therapy under the influence of any alcohol, recreational drugs or legal stimulants except those prescribed by your doctor. If you are to go against any of the aforementioned behavioural standards, I reserve the right to cancel your appointment and refuse any further therapy sessions. If required, the police may also be contacted.
